This Collaboration Case Note describes TAI’s efforts to bring grantees and TAI donor members working on natural resource governance issues together for a “field day.” The goal was for participants to share information about current initiatives, identify coordination gaps, and find synergies to enhance collaboration at the project level as well as to find areas for higher-level strategic collaboration.
Open Society Foundations, a TAI member, hosted the event with support from the TAI Secretariat. While the convening contributed to a shared understanding of what is missing in the NRG field, the collaboration would have benefitted more from clear objectives and more concerted follow-up action.
