In 2024, the global landscape presented significant challenges to trust, accountability, and inclusion. A record number of elections tested democratic institutions, international funding priorities experienced notable shifts, and efforts toward transparency and civic engagement faced persistent obstacles. Throughout these developments, the Trust, Accountability, and Inclusion Collaborative (TAI) remained steadfast in its mission to support funders in being responsive, informed, and interconnected.

This year's Annual Report provides a comprehensive analysis of TAI's initiatives and achievements within this complex environment. Key milestones include:

Enhancing Donor Collaboration: TAI facilitated deeper engagement among donors on critical issues such as tax justice and the resilience of democratic systems.

Promoting Gender-Just Economies: The Collaborative supported initiatives aimed at integrating gender perspectives into economic frameworks, ensuring equitable participation and benefits.

Advancing Climate Accountability: Recognizing the intersection of environmental and governance concerns, TAI championed efforts to hold stakeholders accountable for climate-related commitments.

As TAI transitions into a new strategic period, it remains committed to fostering funding practices that prioritize inclusion, accountability, and trust. The Collaborative will continue to adapt to emerging challenges and opportunities, ensuring that its efforts contribute to sustainable and participatory governance.

We invite stakeholders and partners to engage with the insights and lessons detailed in this report as we collectively navigate the path forward.
