Civic Space: A call to support human rights defenders’ protection networks

Read this 2023 piece in Alliance Magazine by Guadalupe Marengo and Sharan Srinivas. A call to cities, governments, universities and philanthropists to step up, join and better fund protection of HRDs at risk. Cross-cutting partnerships can make these spaces where defenders can thrive. We also need to increase our support to those human rights activists from the most marginalised groups, women human rights defenders for example who are attacked for what they do and for who they are.
